General Information:
On Omoa Bay, just west of Puerto Cortes lies Rio Salto (waterfall river) where a rainforest lodge will be constructed in the near future. We installed a canopy tour with a variety of zip lines. The first part runs through the secondary rainforest with 3 cables and a Burma Bridge. Coming out of the forest, the river is crossed with a 140 meter zip line. From here the cables cros the canyon for another 160 meters to an overlook. From the overlook we have the longest run which is 400 meters long about 70 meters above the river. Our last stretch takes us across the river once again with a 280 meter cable coming into a tunnel of vegetation finishing close to the main trail.

On this project we used trees and elevated platforms in the forest section and cement blocks with metal structures on the canyon crossings.
