Humans have the innate ability to climb. Our phalanges are made to grab holds and naturally climb, but since we were children it has been a restriction put upon us not to go up things from the fear of falling. The Korowai of Indonesia not only climb but live on the treetops in the jungle. Tree houses are the most basic form of arboreal living. The natural support that trees provide open our minds to the most creative ways to fit a dwelling. We build custom tree houses in diverse environments and tree species. Size and materials depend mostly on tree strength and its branch structure.
