Who we are?

Adventure Playground ventured into the rigging business in Costa Rica in the early 90’s. The need for specialized rigging, special effects for commercials, movies and theatre created many opportunities for us to showcase our expertise and provide a much needed, unique service.  Many of these projects proved to be quite challenging however with the collective knowledge, experience and common sense of the Adventure Playground team we have been able to make otherwise tough projects possible with great success.

Adventure Playground has worked and continues to work with many well-known organizations and always welcomes new challenges.

Adventure Playground complies with ACCT construction and operational standards.  We also hire the best and most knowledgeable professionals from builders, arborists and engineers in order to cover all bases of adventure oriented cable systems. We use the best materials available worldwide to insure the longevity and low maintenance of a course.

Founder

VICTOR GALLO PALOMO

Victor Gallo Palomo graduated in wildlife biology from Colorado State University. He pioneered sea kayaking in Costa Rica in 1987, paddled the complete pacific coast from north to south, opened the first and foremost bungee jumping operation in Latin America; Tropical Bungee, developed rock climbing at a higher level and was the first to introduce professional climbing equipment to Costa Rica through Centro de Adventura another one of his creations. Victor opened the first climbing gym in the country and has judged the X-Games Marlboro Adventure Team and the Camel Whitewater Challenge. Victor has also promoted and organized competitions in rafting surf kayaking, rock climbing and paragliding and of course has rigged cable systems for stunts in movies, theatre and sports events.
